About the Author: Lorena Landon is a native of the Pacific Northwest and has always loved the water and the adventure of boating, coupled with the anticipation of discovery. She has both captained and crewed a variety of watercraft from runabouts and cruisers to kayaks and rowing shells and has been exploring the waters of the Pacific Northwest since the early 1980's, including the San Juan and Gulf Islands, Puget Sound and the Columbia River. Lorena recognized the need for restaurant guides specifically designed for boaters when she found herself answering questions like "can we tie-up here?" "how long can we stay?" "is there a restaurant nearby?" Thus the Cleats & Eats restaurant guidbook series was born. Lorena continues her love of boating and quest to discover new dock and restuarant destinations.
